Lisa Matomola is an HR Consultant, Executive and Management Coach as well as a Job Finder Coach. She is the founder and managing consultant of Hito HR and Training Consultants with over 9 years’ experience in the consulting field. She has experience delivering projects on organisational design (alignment of structures to strategy), implementation of performance management, job description development and review, job evaluation, succession management, organisational culture transformation and recruitment. Lisa also facilitates various soft skills training for companies in Namibia such as corporate bullying, emotional intelligence, supervisory and leadership skills and many more. She has a keen interest in rehumanizing workplaces in Namibia by fostering relationships between boards, management and all employees. She served as a member of the HR and Remuneration Sub-Committee at the Environmental Investment Fund (EIF). She recently partnered with Urban Cafe Radio with a show titled “The Office” that focuses on workplace issues.
She is also the author of people first, a management handbook that was launched in July 2023 and has sold over 1000 copies thus far. She has coached over 1000 job seekers since July 2021 for interviews and careers. She was recently appointed as the institute of people management of Namibia as it’s Chief Executive Officer.
She runs for the Windhoek City Runners Club where she also serves as the chairperson.
She holds the following qualifications; Master of Philosophy-University of Cape Town, Master of Philosophy in HIV/AIDS Management, Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of South Africa, Postgraduate Diploma HIV/AIDS Management, Bachelor’s degree in Industrial psychology from the University of Namibia, New Manager Development Program, Stellenbosch Business School and an Executive and Management Coaching – University of Cape Town.
